This was part of the Mediaeval origin house that is no.32 - perhaps a
service or storage section of the original house.
The early 1750 map shows it before even the adjoining early single
storey workshop was built. The 1840 Tythe map shows the adjoining

1915 photo shows it rendered and with single door opening and three
small windows.

Later this house was partly rebuilt to create the double door opening
and six windows. The render was removed, and the exposed stonework
needed the cement surrounds to door and windows to tidy up quoins and
lintels. The right hand ground floor window is now covered by the
porch of adjoining no.36.
